Reclaim Your Identity

When concussion symptoms persist, you lose more than function—you lose pieces of who you are. I help you to not just manage symptoms, but rediscover the activities and identity that make you whole.

"My mission is not just to manage your symptoms, but to help you rediscover and reclaim the activities, relationships, and identity that make you uniquely you."

Beyond Symptom Management

After a concussion, you may have issues with dizziness, vision, thinking, post-traumatic migraines, anxiety or mood, sleep, and neck concerns affecting your everyday activities. These symptoms impact how you take care of yourself, others, your home/ work/ school/ sport, and how you interact with the community around you. Occupational therapists specialize in helping you perform the activities you need and/or love to do, and address any body system that impacts those activities.

With over three decades of experience in complex neurologic rehabilitation, I understand that acute and persistent concussion symptoms don't just affect your brain - they affect your entire sense of self. Traditional approaches focus on managing symptoms, but true recovery means reclaiming the activities, roles, and identity that define who you are. Helping you improve your symptoms and regain your identity is what drives my passion for specialized concussion care.
